Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in the yogurt and garam masala for 15 minutes.
  2. Fry the onion until deep golden, then brown the chicken in the same pan.
  3. Parboil the rice in salted water, drain when half cooked.
  4. Layer the rice over the chicken, cover and steam on low for 15 minutes.
  5. Fluff with a fork and serve with the fried onion on top.
