  1. Melt the butter in a pot and soften the leek and carrot for a few minutes without browning.
  2. Add the diced potato, the hot vegetable stock and the allspice. Simmer for about 12 minutes until the potato is almost tender.
  3. Pour in the milk and cooking cream, then add the fish chunks. Simmer gently for 6-8 minutes; do not let it boil hard or the fish will fall apart.
  4. Season with salt and white pepper, stir in the dill and serve hot.
