- Cook the macaroni in water seasoned with the beef stock cube, then drain.
- Brown the beef mince in a pan. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened. Season with black pepper.
- Mix the drained macaroni with the meat and onion and turn into a greased oven dish.
- Whisk the egg and milk together and pour over the macaroni and meat; the mixture should still be loose.
- Bake at 175 C for 45-60 minutes, until the top is browned and the egg-milk mixture has set.
