  1. Heat the olive oil in a wide pan and fry the chopped onion and garlic until soft, 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the beef mince and brown it thoroughly, breaking up any clumps, until no pink remains.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a minute, then add the crushed tomatoes, vegetable stock, allspice and bay leaf. Simmer for 12-15 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooking cream, season with salt and pepper and remove the bay leaf. Meanwhile boil the spaghetti until al dente and serve the sauce over the pasta.
