- Soften the onion in a little oil, then stir in the paprika off the heat.
- Add the chicken and a splash of water, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
- Mix the flour with an egg-sized splash of water and pinch the dumplings into boiling salted water.
- Drain the dumplings once they float to the surface.
- Stir the sour cream into the sauce off the heat and serve over the dumplings.
