  1. Gently brown the chicken in a little butter without colouring too much.
  2. Add the onion, carrot and mushrooms and soften.
  3. Pour in a little water, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooking cream and warm through.
  5. Season and serve.
